The Cure have been announced as the first headliner for next year's Glasgow Summer Sessions at Bellahouston Park.
The legendary band, led by Robert Smith, will top the bill on August 16 following support from Mogwai, the Twilight Sad and the Joy Formidable, marking their first Scottish gig in 27 years. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on October 26, while further acts are to be announced in due course.
The Cure, who celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2017 and played a huge show at London's Hyde Park as part of the British Summer Time series in July, also perform at Dublin's Malahide Castle on June 8.
Smith also curated this year's Meltdown Festival at the Southbank Centre in London.
