The Cure have announced details of a concert film capturing their intimate performance in London last year.
Filmed during the post-punk legends' November 2024 gig at Troxy celebrating their latest album, 'Songs Of A Lost World', The Show Of A Lost World was directed by Grammy-nominated British filmmaker and long-time collaborator Nick Wickham.
It captures their 31-song set, which included the only performance of the new album in its entirety to date, along with a 45th anniversary tribute to 1980's 'Seventeen Seconds'. The film hits cinemas worldwide for a limited time on December 11, followed by a Blu-Ray, DVD and digital release later that month. They already put out the live LP 'Songs Of A Live World: Troxy London MMXXIV' last December.
The Cure released 'Songs Of A Lost World', their first studio album in 16 years, in November 2024, followed by a remix version titled 'Mixes Of A Lost World' in June of this year, featuring contributions from Deftones' Chino Moreno, Four Tet, Mogwai, Orbital and more.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will headline several UK and European festivals next summer, alongside a number of outdoor shows. Tickets for all dates are on sale.
