Damon Albarn's The Good, The Bad & The Queen are back.
The Blur frontman, Clash bassist Paul Simonon, Verve guitarist Simon Tong and renowned drummer Tony Allen first teamed up for a Danger Mouse-produced, self-titled LP in 2007. SInce then there's been nothing.
Albarn has been busy with his other project, Gorillaz, who released 'The Now Now' this summer, but has now announced that a new record from The Good, The Bad & The Queen is on the way. 'Merrie Land' is due out on November 16.
Head below to listen to the title track, which consists of Albarn's matter of fact narrative being accompanied by a rich soundscape of organs and strings.
