White Lies Unveil New Track Believe It

Wednesday, 24 October 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

White Lies have unveiled a new track called Believe It.

The song is lifted from their new album, 'Five', which is due out on February 1. In a statement, the band said:

“It’s about types of therapy, seen from a shifting perspective of those passionate towards it, those sceptical of it, and those out to make money from it. We wrote it mid-way through the sessions and it became an instant favourite of ours, it’s a four-minute “no nonsense” singalong with lots of ingredients we’ve used before so we hope our fans will love it.”

Believe It is dominated by Harry McVeigh's trademark baritone vocals, while '80s-influenced guitars and synths hold aloft an earworm chorus, kicking things up a gear from the previously shared cut Time To Give.

White Lies will support the record with a UK tour early next year, with Irish dates in the diary during the spring. Check below for dates.
