The Good, The Bad And The Queen have dropped a new track.

Gun To The Head is the latest to be lifted from their forthcoming new album, 'Merrie Land', which was produced alongside Tony Visconti and is set to arrive on November 16.

The record marks the first time Damon Albarn, Clash bassist Paul Simonon, Verve guitarist Simon Tong and  drummer Tony Allen have teamed up since the release of their Danger Mouse-produced self-titled LP in 2007.

The band will support the album with dates in Tynemouth and Cullercoats in late November, before heading to Blackpool, Glasgow and London, where they'll play three nights at Earth. Tickets for the December shows are already on sale, and tickets for the November dates go on sale at 9am on November 7.

Head below to check out the new single's video, which features the return of the creepy ventriloquist dummy from the clip for the record's title track, which is sure to remind you of the even creepier Teddy Perkins character from Atlanta. Gun To The Head finds Albarn's wandering narrative delivered over organs and strings, plus a wind instrument intro and the more traditional tinkling of keys.

The Good The Bad & The Queen - Coronet, London - 10th November 2011 (Live Review)
Thu 17 Nov 2011
The Coronet has seen a few name changes in its time, but as a landmark of Londonís musical and theatrical history, itís a fitting venue for the Good the Bad and the Queen to play the album Damon Albarn described as a song cycle and mystery play about London. And with the theme of the flood hanging over those songs, who better to celebrate the arrival in London of the Rainbow Warrior III, and the 40th anniversary of Greenpeace.

Tue 16 Oct 2018
Primal Scream continue to divide opinion. As a ‘90s indie band they are a bit of an also-ran: a group who produced some excellent music while being outshone by bands who had more consistency across membership and sound like Blur, Oasis and Pulp.
Twenty One Pilots - Trench (Album Review)
Mon 08 Oct 2018
In 2015, Twenty One Pilots got their big break. The Ohioans’ fourth album, ‘Blurryface’, summited the US chart and sent two singles into similarly rarefied air. The following year another song, Heathens, ushered in the soundtrack to the hit film, Suicide Squad. The resulting period has seen the band ascend to arena-filling stardom and paved the way for ‘Trench’, a record that combines their distinctive blend of elaborate production with re-upped nu-metal.
