Ibibio Sound Machine have announced a spring UK tour.

The band will call in Brighton, Bristol and London before finishing up the run with two nights at YES in Manchester on March 15 and 16. Tickets go on sale at 10am on November 9.

Head below to check out their new single, Basquiat. It was written earlier this year for the Barbican's Video Jam event inspired by the work of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Their last album, meanwhile, was 2017's 'Uyai'.

The track finds a brass section sparring with frantic beats, while a piano accompanies the staccato vocals .It's not long, though, before a slinky bassline takes us into full on disco party mode.

Ibibio Sound Machine were also recently announced for All Points East in London. They will play the festival on May 24.

Ibibio Sound Machine Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Tue March 05 2019 - BRIGHTON Concorde 2
Sat March 09 2019 - BRISTOL Trinity
Wed March 13 2019 - LONDON 100 Club
Fri March 15 2019 - MANCHESTER YES
Sat March 16 2019 - MANCHESTER YES

The Chemical Brothers - No Geography (Album Review)
Tue 16 Apr 2019
In the 1990s—along with Fatboy Slim and the Prodigy—the Chemical Brothers popularised a particular brand of big beat electronica that ran adjacent to, and sometimes intertwined with, the pompously termed Intelligent Dance Music movement. Their ninth studio album, ‘No Geography’ boldly revisits this sound, updating it thematically while combining many of the compositional elements brilliantly. The result is probably their best album since 2002’s ‘Come With Us’.
