Christy Moore Lines Up Summer Cork Live At The Marquee Show

Christy Moore has confirmed a date as part of Cork’s Live at the Marquee series.
The Irish legend will return to the iconic venue on July 6, with tickets for the show on general sale at 9am on November 15. He is the second act to be announced for the series, after Tash Sultana was confirmed for performances next summer.
Moore recently released a new single, Sail On Jimmy, which was recorded at the Marquee when he performed there earlier this year. He said:
"I just love singing Albert Niland's song. More than any other, it has become an instant hit with audiences everywhere. We recorded this version at the Marquee in Cork on June 30. 4,000 people, who had never heard the song before were singing beautifully by the end of the third chorus… it was a joyful and memorable moment… a stand out memory in 52 years of gigging."
