Stormzy Confirmed As Friday Night Glastonbury Headliner

Thursday, 15 November 2018 Written by Huw Baines

Stormzy has been confirmed as the first headliner for next year’s Glastonbury.

The grime hero, who released his debut LP ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ in 2017, will top the Friday night bill on the Pyramid Stage. The news initially emerged with a series of posters popping up in Oxfam shops, with a member of staff at a store in Streatham telling the Independent that they’d been instructed to display the image by management.

Stormzy also appeared at the last staging of the festival prior to its fallow year in 2018, playing the Other Stage. Glastonbury will return to Worthy Farm between June 26 and 30.
