Grimes Returns With New Track We Appreciate Power Featuring HANA

Grimes has returned with a new single.
We Appreciate Power sees her teaming up with HANA again following their work on 'The Ac!d Reign Chronicles' in 2016. Grimes' last LP, meanwhile, was 2015's 'Art Angels'.
Head below for the sci-fi video to accompany the new track, which takes influence from artificial intelligence. "People like to say that we're insane, but AI will reward us when it reigns," Grimes sings. "Pledge allegiance to the world's most powerful computer."
The song is primarily driven by industrial rock guitars and beats remiscent of Nine Inch Nails, with further '80s electro flourishes rubbing shoulders with an ethereal pop breakdown. It's been a weird year, but here Grimes has managed to achieve in just under six minutes more than most do in a whole body of work. Hat tip.
