Charlotte Gainsbourg Announces 'Take 2' EP With First Single Such A Remarkable Day

Friday, 07 December 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

Charlotte Gainsbourg has released a new song, Such A Remarkable Day.

Written by Gainsbourg and producer Sebastian, the song is the first to be taken from her upcoming 'Take 2' EP, which is out on December 14 and features three new songs and two live tracks, including a version of Kanye West's Runaway. It's another sleek, melodic diversion into synth-pop following the success of 2017's 'Rest' LP.

Gainsbourg, who plays a string of European shows this month, will perform at London's KOKO on December 11. It will be her first London show since her sold out Village Underground appearance back in March.

Charlotte Gainsbourg Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Tue December 11 2018 - LONDON KOKO

Lana Del Rey - Norman Fucking Rockwell! (Album Review)
Thu 05 Sep 2019
When Lana Del Rey’s Video Games attained viral status in 2011, it felt entirely plausible that her success would be a flash in the pan. Many critics (often male) derided her as a contrived, inauthentic pop star whose cinematic melancholia could not translate to long term appeal. Eight years and four albums later, they’ve been proven wrong about her longevity, and yet Del Rey’s multi-textured inauthenticity has flourished, and become a kind of defining brand. Sometimes you can be wrong and right at the same time.
