I Get No Joy is out today via Glassnote Records and arrives just days after the London-based Americana singer-songwriter announced her self-titled debut album, which will arrive on April 19. The fiery, upbeat track follows previously shared singles Love Has All Been Done Before, Uh Huh and her breakthrough song Lottery. She said:
"This song is about the stream of thought that runs through your head at all times as an over thinker. It’s about how that gets in the way of being present in the moment and ultimately ‘getting no joy’ and about the frustration of everyone’s cliche of happiness not making you feel fulfilled either."
Bird will support Hozier on his upcoming US tour. Head here for tickets.
