Bang Bang Romeo Share Dom Joly-Directed Video For New Single Bag Of Bones

Bang Bang Romeo have shared a new single.
The pop band have a busy year ahead of them, with their first headline UK tour in February, a 16 date stint supporting P!nk in stadiums across the UK and Europe this summer, and their debut album due in June.
Starting it all off right, new single Bag Of Bones is a big and bold pop track helmed by vocalist Anastasia Walker, whose strength takes on a Paloma Faith shine in the chorus. Meanwhile, a snappy bassline and tremolo guitar effects take the rudder.
The companion video, directed by Trigger Happy’s Dom Joly and Matt Campion, depicts a woman returning to her childhood bedroom in an effort to face some personal demons. The band noted:
"In a world where we’re told to conform and align ourselves into categories, we say, unapologetically, "no". To anyone feeling they may not be ‘normal’ in the eyes of today’s society, or feel as though they were just put here to wake up, work, and be this vessel that everyone else wants them to be, we would like to remind you that you are not just a Bag of Bones, you are so much more. Bag of Bones is the second offering from our debut album ‘A Heartbreaker's Guide To The Galaxy’ out June 14th. The single is also our first release of the year, so to say we're excited about it is a total understatement."
Dom Joly also commented:
"I was blown away by Anastasia’s voice when I first heard this track. I loved the fact that this was a rock band fronted by a woman and really wanted to make the video. We kept the company concept pretty simple as the band's power sort of speaks for itself. It was an easy shoot and I'm a big fan of the band and their sound."
Bang Bang Romeo will put out 'A Heartbreaker's Guide To The Galaxy' on June 14.
