The Damned Things Return With New Bassist Dan Andriano, New Track And Details Of New LP

Friday, 22 February 2019 Written by Laura Johnson

Supergroup the Damned Things are back!

Featuring Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley, Anthrax's Scott Ian and Fall Out Boy's Joe Trohman on guitar, Fall Out Boy's Andy Hurley on drums, and new bassist Dan Andriano from Alkaline Trio, the band have dropped a new track.

As with all their previous releases, Cells contains face-melting, metal-influenced guitar lines, full-blown rock riffs and hardcore vocals, to name just a few of the elements they throw into the mix. The accompanying video also stays on brand, with intentionally comically bad special effects.

The track is the first to be shared from their new album, 'High Crimes', which is out on April 26 via Nuclear Blast. It follows their debut 'Ironiclast', that came out in 2010, when the band featured previous members Rob Caggiano (of Volbeat and Anthrax) on guitar and Josh Newton on bass (formerly of Every Time I Die, From Autumn To Ashes, Band Of Horses and Volbeat, to name a few).
