Feed The Rhino have announced that they are parting ways.

The Kent-based band will split after one final performance at London's Underworld on May 17. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on March 8, priced £11 plus fees.

Formed in 2009, during their time together the quintet released four albums, 2010's 'Mr Red Eye', 2012's 'The Burning Sons', 2014's 'The Sorrow And The Sound' and last year's 'The Silence'. The band took to their Facebook page to break the news.

"Every dog has his day, and so does the rhino.

We couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve achieved in the past decade, and we can’t thank all our fans, friends and team enough for helping us on this mad ride. You’ve helped us achieve what we could only dream of.

We leave as we came; good friends who believe in their music.

Come celebrate one last time with us!

FTR xx"
