Barbra Streisand To Headline British Summer Time Hyde Park - How To Buy Tickets

Thursday, 07 March 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Barbra Streisand has lined up a massive show in London this summer.

The Broadway vocal icon will headline British Summer Time in Hyde Park on July 7, following the release of her new album ‘Walls’ last year.

Known for classics such as The Way We Were, Guilty, Woman In Love, No More Tears and many more, Streisand is sure to bring all the hits to the city’s festival this summer. The singer was the first female to win the Oscar for Best Song with her track Evergreen from A Star Is Born, which was recently adapted into a film with Lady Gaga.

Bryan Ferry And Kris Kristofferson have been confirmed as special guests. More acts are due to be announced. Keep checking back for updates.

The 2019 London show — a European exclusive — forms part of the British Summer Time series, which hosts some huge artists at Hyde Park in London. This year will also see sets from headliners Florence and the Machine, Robbie Williams, Celine Dion, Bob Dylan and Neil Young, with impressive supporting bills joining them.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am GMT on Thursday March 14. Head here for pre-sale tickets.

Banks - III (Album Review)
Fri 19 Jul 2019
‘III’, Banks’ appropriately titled third album, has been a short while in the making but feels like the culmination of the songwriter’s more ambitious work to this point. Five years since the release of her debut LP 'Goddess' the LA artist has shifted direction within her sound, infusing her synth-heavy trip-pop aesthetic with a jaded sense of heartbreak, maturity and raw passion.
