Karen O And Danger Mouse Release New Collaborative Single Turn The Light

Tuesday, 12 March 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Karen O and Danger Mouse have shared their latest single.

Turn The Light is the third cut from their forthcoming joint album, ‘Lux Prima’ which is due out on March 15. Following on from Woman and the title track, the new single is a funky number, teaming simple bass and synth with Karen O’s iconic voice, here pared down for a laid back feel.

‘Lux Prima’ is the first new material from Karen O since Yeah Yeah Yeahs put out ‘Mosquito’ in 2013, and Danger Mouse’s first since the 2014 release of ‘After The Disco’ by Broken Bells, his project with the Shins’ James Mercer.

Fri 12 Apr 2019
‘Interview Music’, Idlewild’s eighth studio album, finds them following up on the relative success of their 2015 comeback ‘Everything Ever Written’.
