Julia Shapiro Of Chastity Belt Announces Debut Solo LP 'Perfect Version', Shares First Cut Natural

Julia Shapiro of Chastity Belt has announced her debut solo album.
‘Perfect Version’ is due for release on June 14 via Hardly Art, and focuses on themes of how to love oneself amid the chaos of the world, self-consciousness and health issues.
The album’s first cut, Natural, is a relaxed, indie-rock track with jangly guitars and a chord sequence that wouldn’t be out of place on Snail Mail’s ‘Lush’. Repeated vocal melodies are placed low in the mix to mimic the introspective nature of its themes.

Chastity Belt put out their latest album ‘I Used To Spend So Much Time Alone’ in 2017.
