Sleater-Kinney Return With New Single Hurry On Home, Announce Fall North American Tour

Sleater-Kinney have returned with a new track.
Hurry On Home is the alt-rock trio's first new offering since their 2017 single Here We Come in aid of Planned Parenthood. Their last studio album, meanwhile, was 2015's 'No Cities To Love', though they did also release the 'Live In Paris' LP in 2017.
In January the band shared a photo of them in the studio with St. Vincent, who they later confirmed was producing their new album. The new track shares Annie Clark's flare for the dramatic. It begins with choral vocals, a sinister guitar line and a driving rhythm section, which are later joined by synths for an electro-rock influenced chorus and intensely ominous breakdown. Corin Tucker, Carrie Brownstein and Janet Weiss have also announced a fall North American tour, tickets for which go on general sale from 10am local time on June 14.
