Dude York Share New Single And Video Box

Thursday, 06 June 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Dude York have released a new song from their upcoming third LP.

With 'Falling' scheduled to arrive on July 26 via Hardly Art, the Seattle pop-punk trio have shared the catchy and bright Box, which follows the record's previously shared title track and comes with a one-take video viewable below.

Vocalist Peter Richards said, "the song is about adolescent disappointment and the emotional solipsism that can follow." Of the video, he added that the band, "reached out to friends in the Seattle arts community and [dancer] Samie Detzer, [choreographer] Alice Ghosti, [director] Jared Caldwell, and the Washington Ensemble Theater answered with resounding support."

Dude York will open for Bleached on their North American tour dates in October.
