Beirut Cancel Upcoming Dates In UK, Ireland And Europe Due To Illness

Tuesday, 16 July 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Beirut have been forced to cancel dates on their UK and European tour due to illness.

A post on social media confirmed that frontman Zach Condon was diagnosed with acute laryngitis earlier this month, causing the band to cancel a string of summer dates, including stops in Cardff, Dublin, and Nottingham in August.

Ticket refunds will be issued by the point of purchase. The band were hitting the road in support of their latest LP, 'Gallipoli', which arrived back in February.

UPDATE 10/09: Beirut have cancelled all their remaining 2019 shows.
