Third Eye Blind Line Up October Release For Sixth Album 'Screamer', Share Title Track

Third Eye Blind have announced their sixth album.
Hot on the heels of confirming their return to the UK and Europe this autumn, the San Francisco alt-rockers are poised to release 'Screamer' on October 18, following up last year's 'Thanks for Everything' covers EP and their 2015 LP 'Dopamine'.
Alongside the announcement, the band have shared the record's first single. The title track features Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells and rolls along at a steady pace with vocalist Stephan Jenkins trading lines alongside Krauss, building to a sky-shouting chorus. The album also boasts contributions from Marijuana Death Squad and Poliça's Ryan Olson, as well as Billy Corgan. Offering an insight into the recording process, vocalist Stephan Jenkins said:
“We have always been so insular. And on 'Screamer' we adopted an open door policy — come in, be musical, and follow the song where it takes us."
The band are currently touring North America with Jimmy Eat World as part of their joint Summer Gods Tour. They also play shows in Austin, Texas this autumn before heading to Europe.
