Marika Hackman Shares New Single All Night From Upcoming Album 'Any Human Friend'

Thursday, 25 July 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Marika Hackman has shared All Night off her upcoming album.

The grungey, passionate track follows the previously shared I'm Not Where You Are and The One in previewing the London-based singer-songwriter’s forthcoming LP, 'Any Human Friend', out on August 9. She said:

"I thought it would be exciting to write a really overtly sexual song about a woman from the perspective of a woman. You don’t hear much about sex between women in music, or if you do its usually from a fetishised male perspective, I thought I’d reclaim a bit of that power."

Hackman will support the record's release with tour dates, appearing at Green Man Festival before a short run of headline shows this September.

Marika Hackman Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sat September 21 2019 - BRISTOL Thekla
Mon September 23 2019 - GLASGOW Oran Mor
Tue September 24 2019 - LEEDS Brudenell Social Club
Wed September 25 2019 - MANCHESTER Band on the Wall
Thu September 26 2019 - LONDON Islington Assembly Hall
