Four Tet Surprise Releases Album 'Live At Alexandra Palace, London'

Friday, 26 July 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Four Tet, aka Kieran Hebden, has surprise released a live album.

The record captures the electronic musician's performance during his two-night stand at London's Alexandra Palace this May, and is aptly titled 'Live at Alexandra Palace, London 8th and 9th May 2019'.

The producer uploaded the release to his Bandcamp page this week, splitting the recording into seven tracks, starting with a short 90-second introduction, Starting, and including the near 40-minute Part 4. Stream it below.

Four Tet's latest studio album, 'New Energy', arrived in 2017. He released the singles Teenage Birdsong and Dreamer back in the spring, and has writing and production credits on nearly all tracks on Neneh Cherry's 2018 album 'Broken Politics'.

Hebden recently revealed on Twitter that he was, "working on the new record. Got some tracks finished now."
