Idles have released a new song and a new video.
The Bristol punks have unveiled a clip for their standalone single Mercedes Marxist, which got a 7" release today (August 2). It was directed by Dylan Southern alongside Will Lovelace and stars Kris Hitchen from the Ken Loach film Sorry We Missed You. They've also shared the single's unrestrained and impassioned b-side, I Dream Guillotine. Listen below.
The release follows the band's recent Mercury Prize nomination for their politically-charged second album 'Joy As An Act Of Resistance'.
Idles tour the UK this winter, during which they'll play their biggest headline show to date at London's Alexandra Palace on December 7.
