Nick Mason Announces Spring UK And Ireland Tour With Saucerful Of Secrets

Nick Mason has confirmed spring UK and Ireland shows with Saucerful of Secrets.
The former Pink Floyd drummer will be joined by ex-Floyd bassist Guy Pratt, the Blockheads’ guitarist Lee Harris, Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp and composer Dom Beken in performing vintage pre 'Dark Side Of The Moon' era material by the iconic band at 13 shows during April and May.
Naming the project after Pink Floyd's second album gives fans an idea of what they can expect from their live performances. Mason explained:
"It's a quick way of explaining to people what we're doing. What I didn't want to get caught up in were a lot of people going, 'Well, why don't you play Comfortably Numb?' or 'Why don't you do something from 'The Wall'?' I think the name itself indicates where we are and what we're doing."
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on September 19.
