Deerhunter And Cate Le Bon Team Up For Collaborative EP, Share First Cut Secretary

Bradford Cox and Cate Le Bon are teaming up for a collaborative EP.
The Deerhunter frontman and Welsh singer-songwriter will release ‘Myths 004’ on November 1 as the latest pairing for Mexican Summer’s ‘Myths’ EP series.
Secretary, the record’s first single, is an atonal mesh of harsh piano tone and silky, angelic vocals from Le Bon as a paean to bored office workers, before a length of spoken word poetry from Cox to close.
Deerhunter released 'Why Hasn’t Everything Already Disappeared?' in January whcih saw co-production from Le Bon, while her latest album is the Mercury Prize-shortlisted ‘Reward’. The indie-rock outfit will tour the UK in November, with Le Bon supporting at select dates.
