X Unveil Video For First New Song In 34 Years Delta 88 Nightmare

X  have shared their first new music in over 30 years.

The legendary Los Angeles punk band's original line up — Exene Cervenka, John Doe, Billy Zoom, and DJ Bonebrake — regrouped earlier this year to lay down five songs and today they've unveiled Delta 88 Nightmare, a high energy classic punk outtake from their 1980 debut LP 'Los Angeles'.

The new version marks the band's first release to feature the original quartet since 1985, while the track's accompanying video was directed by Cervenka’s son, Henry Mortensen, who also stars. Take a look below.

Along with a studio version of Delta 88 Nightmare, the band recorded the track's flip side, a re-recorded version of the 1987 classic Cyrano de Berger’s Back, which was written by Doe prior to the band's formation. A 7" vinyl release of the single is set to arrive on November 29 via Fat Possum.

Additionally, the band have lined up a run of West Coast dates in November and December. Head here for ticket details.
