My Chemical Romance will return this winter.
The New Jersey band will perform together for the first time since their split in 2013 at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on December 20. Tickets go on sale at 12.00pm Pacific Standard Time on November 1.
They broke the news with posts on social media and their website, using a poster emblazoned with "Return" and introducing it with the phrase, "Like Phantoms Forever..."
The band released their last studio album, 'Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys' in 2010, though following their break-up they did put out the greatest hits collection 'May Death Never Stop You' in 2014.
After their split, all members pursued different projects, with vocalist Gerard Way releasing his debut solo album, 'Hesitant Alien', in 2014 and working to develop The Umbrella Academy with Netflix.
Meanwhile, guitarist Frank Iero put out 'Stomachaches' in 2014 and has been extremely prolific ever since, bassist Mikey Way made music as half of duo Electric Century and guitarist Ray Toro released his debut solo LP, 'Remember the Laughter', in 2016.
