Idles have announced a hometown charity show at the Marble Factory in Bristol.
The punk quintet will be joined by Beak>, Billy Nomates and Bootleg Blondie at the venue on December 12, with all money raised from the gig going to Bristol homeless charities the Wild Goose, 1625 Independent People, Feed the Homeless Bristol and Somewhere to Go.
It's the second Give A Shit Christmas event arranged by Beak> in as many years. Event spokesman, Robin Turner said:
"So, Give A Shit Christmas is back, bigger and bolder than last year and aiming to raise a lot more cash. Where better to spend election night than in a dark nightclub listening to music that’s loud enough to blank out the outside world whilst helping to raise money for those who need it the most at Christmas? Come along and show you give a shit too."
The bands will be supported by a host of DJs as well as compere Martin Roberts from Homes Under The Hammer, who will run the raffle with prizes donated by artists, musicians, record labels and book publishers.
Tickets are on sale now, priced from £30 plus fees. The show will follow Idles' previously announced winter dates, which include a huge gig at London's Alexandra Palace.
