Crowded House have confirmed a date for Cork's Live at the Marquee series.
After a long hiatus, the Australian band will make their debut at the venue on June 29, with tickets on general sale at 9am on December 2.
Crowded House, who had hits with Don't Dream it's Over and Weather With You, performed a farewell concert on the steps of the Sydney Opera House in 1996. Following the tragic death of drummer Paul Hester in 2005, the band's Neil Finn and Nick Seymour decided to return to the road and release new music.
Previously confirmed acts for the Live at the Marquee series are Cat Stevens, Diana Ross, 2FM Live with Jenny Greene and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, and Christy Moore. They'll perform on June 24, 25, 26 and 27, respectively. Tickets for these shows are already on sale.
Crowded House were also recently announced for Manchester’s Sounds Of The City series next year.
Crowded House Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Mon June 29 2020 - CORK Live At The Marquee
Thu July 02 2020 - MANCHESTER Castlefield Bowl
