Petrol Girls Unveil Music Video For Monstrous As UK Tour Begins

Petrol Girls have shared a video for their single Monstrous.
The clip was filmed by Martyna Wisniewska and offers an intimate look at the band while touring with Refused, Thrice and La Dispute behind their 2019 album 'Cut & Stitch'. Describing the fiery track, vocalist Ren Aldridge said:
"[Monstrous] is about feeling mined and drained and too much and not enough and, ultimately, monstrous. It’s also about how I sometimes feel on stage or on social media. Sometimes I find fronting a feminist band too much pressure from too many different directions."
The video arrives ahead of the opening night of their headline UK and Ireland tour, with the group set to kick off the run in Newport tonight before heading to Brighton, London, Nottingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin and Limerick.
