Nadine Shah Announces New Album 'Kitchen Sink'

Tuesday, 04 February 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

Nadine Shah has announced a new album.

The follow-up to her Mercury Prize-nominated 2017 LP 'Holiday Destination' is called 'Kitchen Sink' and will be released on June 5.

Head below to watch the video for the record's first single, Ladies For Babies (Goats For Love). It mixes indie with alt-rock to provide a captivating backdrop for Shah's lower register vocals, which deliver a scathing commentary on gender roles.

The English singer-songwriter has a busy few months ahead, with performances confirmed at the BBC 6 Music Festival in London, Pitchfork Music Festival in Berlin, This Is Tomorrow in Newcastle, and Green Man in the Brecon Beacons.
