Happyness have shared a new single.

The London rockers continue to tease their forthcoming album, 'Floatr', which is set for release on May 1. Ouch (Yup) is the third cut to be taken from the record, following the previously released singles Vegetable and Seeing Eye Dog.

The new track unfolds around the band's typical DIY approach; it blends fuzzy guitar lines with low-key vocals to whip up a slacker rock gem.

Ouch (Yup) lyrically explores what the band have described as "the slow excruciating dawning of reality". In a statement, they added: "We were going through some massive life changes around the time we wrote this song, and Brexit was happening (remember that!) It’s about disbelief I guess. Reality is a weird rush, the truth sets you free. Those kinds of things."

Happyness are set to celebrate the record's release with a headline show at London's Moth Club on June 19, followed by a UK tour throughout October.
