Hayley Williams Posts New 'Petals For Armor' Track My Friend

Hayley Williams has released the latest segment of her forthcoming solo debut, ‘Petals For Armor’.
With the album set to arrive on May 8 through Atlantic, the sinuous, neo-soul inflected My Friend follows up recent reveals for Over Yet and Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris, which featured the Boygenius trio Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker, and Phoebe Bridgers.
As with the rest of the record My Friend was produced by Williams’ Paramore bandmate Taylor York. Head below to check out the track’s lyric video.
Williams is still set to support the record with UK, European and North American tour dates throughout May and June, although all that could change. Her set at the Great Escape in Brighton has already been pulled, along with the festival, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
