Flying Lotus Announces New Album 'Flamagra (Instrumentals)'

Flying Lotus has confirmed details of a new album.

In celebration of the anniversary of his latest LP, 'Flamagra’, the multi-instrumentalist and producer is set to release an instrumental reworking of the record. ‘Flamagra (Instrumentals)’ will land on May 29 via Warp, and will feature original mixes from his 2019 full-length.

Flying Lotus said: “Whereas the original album featured a dream cast of vocal collaborators, this project places the masterful arrangements, electronics and musicianship at the forefront.”

The news arrives with a pared back rendition of his single Black Balloons Reprise. Check it out below, alongside the album’s artwork and tracklist.
