Joe Goddard And Hayden Thorpe Release Collaborative Track Unknown Song

Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard (pictured) and former Wild Beasts frontman Hayden Thorpe have teamed up to create Unknown Song.
2019 was busy for both UK artists; Thorpe released his debut solo album 'Diviner' and Hot Chip returned to form with the psychedelic 'A Bath Full of Ecstasy'. Both records reflected differing points along each artists’ respective musical journey and yet Unknown Song is a natural pairing, bringing together the very best of Thorpe and Hot Chip.
The euphoric dance track brings a glimmer of hope and positivity in these difficult times with astounding effect, belying the fact that they hadn't worked together prior to this. Discussing the heightened importance of music during these unprecedented times, Thorpe said:
"The lockdown has really made it apparent how music allows us to feel a synchronicity with our fellow beings. In the absence of touch, music is that sensual meeting point."
