Love Fame Tragedy has confirmed details of their debut album.
‘Wherever I Go, I Want To Leave’, the first solo LP from the Wombats' frontman Matthew Murphy, is scheduled to arrive on July 10. Check out the tracklist and album artwork below.
The news arrives with the release of lead single 5150, an ambient, electro-pop track that deals in syncopated vocals and synth pulses. Murphy said:
“5150 refers to the California law code for individuals who present a danger to themselves or others due to signs of mental illness. In this case it refers more to how I occasionally feel a need to escape, regardless of the repercussions”
The new record will follow this year's ‘Five Songs to Briefly Fill the Void’ EP.
