Sufjan Stevens Announces New Album 'The Ascension'

Sufjan Stevens has confirmed details of a new album.

‘The Ascension’ will arrive on September 25 via the American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist’s label, Asthmatic Kitty. Check out the artwork and tracklist below.

The new record swiftly follows the ambient 'Aporia', Stevens’s collaborative LP with his stepfather, Lowell Brams, released in March. His last solo full-length effort was 2015’s critically acclaimed ‘Carrie & Lowell’.
