Napalm Death have posted a new single.

Arriving after the previously shared Backlash Just Because, Amoral is the second track to be lifted from the grindcore originators' upcoming 16th studio album, 'Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism', which is out on September 18 via Century Media Records.

It finds the band continuing to experiment with new forms of extreme metal for a fairly melodic but still crushingly heavy post-punk track. Vocalist Barney Greenway said:

"A good shout to work once again with Michael Panduro, as he really adapts his style video to video rather than just using a singular approach. We delight in a generous helping of the absurd, so for one thing, the footage of children seemingly at play but displaying signs of systemic obedience really propels Shane’s lyrical thrust of our default powerlessness within the pecking order. As sonics go, I think it’s post-punk as fuck and grooves massively and accordingly."

The new LP will follow Napalm Death's last full-length effort, 2015's 'Apex Predator - Easy Meat'.
