John Frusciante has unveiled a new video.

The musician stars as an observer of some extraterrestrial activity in the Amalía Irons-directed clip for Brand E, a fusion of melodic '90s UK hardcore and jungle. The track is from Frusciante's forthcoming LP that's out on October 23 via Timesig, the label of Aaron Funk, also known as Venetian Snares.

'Maya' marks his first album of instrumental electronic music to be released under his own name, having dropped his Trickfinger alias, and is dedicated to his late cat of the same name.

Frusciante officially returned to the Red Hot Chili Peppers in December 2019. He replaces Josh Klinghoffer, who was with the band for a decade.
