Gone Is Gone Unveil Details Of Second Album, Share New Song Breaks

Friday, 30 October 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Gone Is Gone have returned with details of their second full-length and a new song.

'If Everything Happens For A Reason… Then Nothing Really Matters At All' will arrive on December 4 via Clouds Hill and include the newly shared introductory single Breaks, a slice of synth-oriented rock.

After a busy three years writing, the coronavirus lockdown allowed the supergroup — Mastodon's Troy Sanders, Queens Of The Stone Age's Troy Van Leeuwen, At The Drive-In's Tony Hajjar and composer and keyboardist Mike Zarin —  time to commit to completing album number two.

Notably, Sanders has been working on three new LPs of music this year, the follow-up to this project's 2017 debut LP 'Echolocation', the successor to Mastodon's 'Emperor Of Sand', and Killer Be Killed's 'Reluctant Hero', due out on November 20.

'If Everything Happens For A Reason… Then Nothing Really Matters At All' tracklist:

1. Resfeber
2. Say Nothing
3. Everything Is Wonderfall
4. Wings Of Hope
5. Sometimes I Feel
6. No One Ever Walked On Water
7. Death Of A Dream
8. Crimson, Chaos and You
9. Breaks
10. Payoff
11. Force Of A Feather
12. Dirge For Delusions
