Ani DiFranco has shared the title track of her upcoming album, 'Revolutionary Love'.

The LP's opening track is a minimal offering that showcases the singer, songwriter and activist's vocal prowess. It'll feature alongside the previously released Do or Die and Contagious, with the record due out on January 29 via her own Righteous Babe Records label. In a statement about its political theme, she said:

"It’s about carrying the energy of love and compassion into the center of our social movements and making it the driving force. It’s about finding it within ourselves to stay curious about our opponents instead of shutting down."

Recorded in Durham, North Carolina during February, the album contains collaborations with Brad Cook, Phil Cook, Brevan Hampden, Matt Douglas and Yan Westerlund, as well as DiFranco's touring band members Terence Higgins and Todd Sickafoose. It's her first record since she put out her memoir No Walls And The Recurring Dream in 2019.

'Revolutionary Love' tracklist:

1. Revolutionary Love
2. Bad Dream
3. Chloroform
4. Contagious
5. Do or Die
6. Station Identification
7. Shrinking Violet
8. Metropolis
