Finneas Shares Christmas Song Another Year

Tuesday, 01 December 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Finneas has shared a Christmas song.

The lucid, piano-led Another Year marks the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter's first festive release, and follows his recent singles Where The Poison Is, Can’t Wait To Be Dead and What They'll Say About Us. Discussing the seasonal offering, which he wrote and produced himself, he said:

"I wrote this song last Christmas, with a year of uncertainty ahead of us, had I known, anything I know now about how 2020 would go, I don't think I would have changed a word. I hope wherever this song finds you, it brings you some small dose of comfort. The horizon is bright I think."

It arrives a week after Finneas picked up nods for three 2021 Grammy Awards, including Song Of The Year for his Everything I Wanted collaboration with his sister Billie Eilish, which is also up for Record Of The Year. He's also nominated for Best Song Written For Visual Media for No Time To Die, the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film of the same name.

As well as working with Eilish, he also co-produced Justin Bieber's recent single Lonely with Benny Blanco.
