The Flaming Lips have rescheduled their upcoming US shows.
Wayne Coyne and Co were due to play the "World's First Space Bubble Concert" at the Criterion in Oklahoma City on December 10 and 11, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic the performances have been moved to January 22 and 23, 2021.
The bubbles have previously been used as part of the band's live set-up, with them first appearing during their set at Coachella festival in 2004. More recently, they were used for a performance they turned into a live video for Assassins of Youth, a track from their latest album 'American Head'.
The Flaming Lips will also return to the UK and Ireland in 2021 for rescheduled shows that were also postponed due to the coronavirus.
