Two more acts have been announced for Live At The Piece Hall in Halifax next year.
Set to co-headline the historic open-air courtyard on July 23 are three-time Grammy Award-winners The Flaming Lips (pictured) and Scottish psych-folk group The Beta Band. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (November 14).
Also set to appear at the Live At The Piece Hall concert series next summer are Shed Seven, Madness, Embrace, Paul Weller, Garbage and Skunk Anansie, The Kooks, Ethel Cain, Belle and Sebastian, McFly, James Arthur, David Gray, Deacon Blue, Billy Ocean, James Taylor, Alex James' Britpop Classical, Tom Grennan, Gary Numan, Opeth, The K's, and The Wombats.
Oklahoma's The Flaming Lips released their latest studio album, 'American Head', in 2020. Over the years, they've also collaborated with artists such as Miley Cyrus, Nell Smith, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Kacey Musgraves, Yoko Ono, The Chemical Brothers, and many more. The group were also recently announced as one of the first acts for next year's Latitude Festival in Suffolk.
Earlier this year, The Beta Band reunited for the first time in 21 years, playing a series of shows across the UK and North America this autumn, following the summer reissue of their 1998 'The Three E.P.'s' compilation. They'll also appear at next year's TRNSMT festival in Glasgow.
