Blanck Mass Lines Up February Release For New LP 'In Ferneaux', Shares First Single Starstuff

Blanck Mass, aka Benjamin John Power, has shared details of his fifth studio LP.
'In Ferneaux' will arrive on February 26 through Sacred Bones and feature two parts: Phase I and Phase II, with a total running time of 41 minutes.
As a preview, Power — one half of the dormant Fuck Buttons — has unveiled an excerpt called Starstuff, a three-minute slice of celestial electronica that builds through shimmering synths to a colossal crescendo.
The album was recorded during the 2020 lockdown period of the COVID-19 pandemic and according to a press release, "explores pain in motion, building audio-spatial chambers of experience and memory." Press play below.
Blanck Mass's last full-length came in the form of 2019's 'Animation Violence Mild'.
