Field Music Set April Release For Eighth Album 'Flat White Moon', Share New Track No Pressure

Field Music have announced their new album.
Brothers Peter and David Brewis will drop 'Flat White Moon' on April 23 through Memphis Industries, following up 2020's 'Making A New World' concept LP about the consequences of World War I.
In addition to the previously released Orion From The Street, it'll include their newly shared single No Pressure, a slice of buoyant art-rock that glides over a bouncy groove. It comes paired with a tongue-in-cheek clip parodying YouTube instructional videos, viewable below alongside the record's artwork and tracklist. David said:
"It feels like we're in a new political paradigm where no one takes responsibility for anything and, even worse, they don't seem to feel any shame or remorse about it. The song is like a mirror image of Under Pressure. But if that was about "people on the street", this is mostly from the perspective of someone up on high insisting that nothing is his fault while the rest of us scratch around trying to hold things together."
In January, the siblings announced a UK tour for the autumn, with stops planned in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Nottingham, Brighton, London and Manchester during October. Tickets are on sale now.
