Amy Shark Posts Keith Urban Collaboration Love Songs Ain't For Us Written By Ed Sheeran

Amy Shark has unveiled a new single, Love Songs Ain't For Us.
The hazy pop collaboration leans hard into the country influences brought to the track by superstar Keith Urban. It was co-penned by Ed Sheeran and serves as the latest preview of the Gold Coast singer-songwriter's forthcoming sophomore album, 'Cry Forever', due out on April 30. She said:
"Ed asked me if I wrote songs about my man, I told him I do, but love songs aren't really for us. He then smiled and said, 'ok that's what we'll do then.' This song is as loved up as you’ll get from me and I love it."
Talking about working with Urban, she added: "The song is so classy and timeless I needed to find a class act to join me. Keith is so professional and well respected around the world, so it was a no brainer."
The track marks the fourth single from the record, following on from the previously shared Everybody Rise, All The Lies About Me, and the Travis Barker-assisted C'mon. Shark will support the follow-up to 2018's 'Love Monster' with her biggest Australian headline tour to date in June and July.
Keith Urban also has an Australian and New Zealand tour lined up later this year in support of his 2020 LP, 'The Speed Of Now Part 1'. Sheeran, meanwhile, put out the surprise single Afterglow in December.
