Ben Howard Posts New Track Sorry Kid

Tuesday, 23 March 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Ben Howard has shared a new track from of his upcoming album.

Sorry Kid serves as the final preview of the singer-songwriter's imminent fourth full-length, 'Collections From The Whiteout', due out this Friday (March 26).

Anchored by a soft, acoustic guitar-driven rhythm, the song is loosely inspired by the story of Anna Sorokin, a Russian-born German woman who gained notoriety by defrauding New York hotels and wealthy acquaintances while pretending to be a billionaire heiress.

Other early singles from the record include Follies Fixture, Far Out, Crowhurst's Meme, and What A Day.

In September, Howard will support the release with two shows at London's Royal Festival Hall, following intimate performances in Edinburgh, Bristol, Leeds and Kingston.

Prior to that, he'll play a livestream show from the Goonhilly Earth Station in Cornwall, where he and his band will present material from the new record for the first time on April 8, at 8pm BST/9pm CET/8pm EDT/8pm PDT/8pm AEST.
