Coheed and Cambria are back with a new single, Shoulders.
The no frills rock riff-fest marks the New York band's first proper studio release in three years, though they did team up with Rick Springfield for Jessie's Girl 2 in 2020.
It's also the first taster of their forthcoming as-yet-unannounced 10th studio album, the follow-up to 2018's 'Vaxis - Act I: The Unheavenly Creatures'. Speaking about the song, which reflects on the ups and downs of life and how being an outsider can be frustrating yet rewarding, vocalist and guitarist Claudio Sanchez said:
"In art, in your career, in relationships… no matter how much you give of yourself or try, you have to accept that not everything in life can be a perfect fit."
Coheed and Cambria will embark on a previously announced 18-date co-headline US tour with The Used this summer. Tickets are on sale now.
